My big brother used to write FLY I INDS, Ex-Vandals so I used to watch them tag up and go with them racking in '72,' 73. KAOS ONE moved into my building and quickly became my mentor plus he was a DJay and I was his 'record boy'. He urged me 2 go to the High School of Art & Design which he was attending at the time. ATOM and KASE2 and JEAN 13 influenced my style and hunger for graffiti. ATOM gave me my first outline and KASE 2 gave me first burner outline. I got my name from following the best at the time PHASE 2. My brother and his crew used to hit trains with him, so I saw outlines in blackbooks and I heard stories. So I wanted to write PHASE 3 but when I got to Art and Design, DAZE, JEAN 13, ATOM burst my bubble and let me know that I WAS A TOY disrespecting. So I went not to far down the alphabet to "D". I put a 'two' behind because I understood the significance of respecting someone before you. So I added the 'two' because I did not want a father to my name. I also tagged up my B-Ball name "SLICK". Originally born and raised in East New York, Brooklyn then moved to the Bronx uptown to rep. My main lines were the 2s and 5s, but I lived in that 6 tunnel and in that One Yard. The Ghost Yard helped me get up on all lines A, B, CC Ds E and F, Gs , J and Ms, Rs, Ns, 1s, 2s etc., etc. The best partners who had the most impact KASE 2, lil' SEEN, CRASH, SHY147, DAZE, JEAN 13, ATOM, BUTCH, DEE TWO, TRACII, KEMS. Crews I wrote for OTB, TNT,TC5, TB, INDS, TFA, TC, BYB, TLP, UA, TBC, CBS. History of the TNT crew TNT was The NASTY TWO CUE AND MON2 aka LC. I met them with my partner PACER ONE at the 225th Street. lay-up. We became friends, then affiliates it worked out well.They began to go with us to Esplanade and we went with them to 225th and to Gun Hill lay-up where SLAY ONE TNT had it locked down. HAROLD was on the 1 train so we just banded together like fam. A lot of us are still cool with each other today. When CUE gave me TNT I changed it to THE NATIONS TOP! I gave it to AGENT 007 and SKEME and also to lil SEEN and DOZE oops! They fought and thus was born TFA and TC5 updated version. TNT members CUE, MON TWO aka LC, HARO aka EN 005, FASE 5, SLAY ONE, PHADE TWO, PACER ONE, GIN, MACKIE, AGENT 007, KEMS, lil SEEN, SEAP, BAN 2, SOUND SEVEN, DOZE ,DEK, 2SWIFT, Skeme, DEZ, JEAN13, DAZE Conflicts The TMT conflict was memorable, but we all end up becoming friends. It was a conflict of similarities. Names and membership lay-ups KASE helped us with the pieces because they had that guy CHAIN 3RD from The Death Squad.
