FLIN ONE Aliases: MAIL 214, SCORPIO Started: 1974 Primary affiliations: CIA, TOP Local origin: Brooklyn, New York Main lines: Js, Ms, LLs, As, CCs, 5s, 2s FLIN grew up in the East New York section of Brooklyn. He started writing in the mid 1970s. In the late 1970s FLIN started writing with two prolific Brooklyn based crews, the Crazy Insides Artists and The Odd Partners. His consistent efforts helped CIA and TOP dominate the J, M and LL lines during the time period. FLIN dedicated equal time and effort between hitting subway car interiors with tags and hitting the exteriors with pieces and throw-ups. He frequently partnered with writers like SID THE KID, G-WIZ, CRAZY IK aka HULK CIA and his cousin DURO.
