DONDI,from the East New York Section of Brooklyn founded the crew Crazy Insides Artists in 1977 which changed in 1979 to Corporation Illustrating Art due to CIA's focus on style. CIA was built from older more established people like The Odd Partners (TOP) and newer local writers like HULK, SONO and FLIN ONE. CIA took up where TOP left off. They wer escentially an all city crew. Early on they focused on their local subway lines. They produced scores of paintings on the BMT division-- kinging the LLs, Js and Ms and also hit the IND division's As and CCs. They gained a great deal fame from their colorful work done on the 2s and 5s under the leadership of DONDI. DONDI's hand is evident throughout the works many CIA paintings.
