MAFIA stands for Master's Administration For Incredible Artists It was founded by DON ONE of Astoria Queens. Membership has included INCA, TAG, GEAR, BOC, SEC 2, JIT, COB 1, BILLY 167, KR ONE, DONDI, ZEPHYR, NOC 167, CHAIN 3 and others. DON hit the RRs during 1976 and 77. His works would also run on the Js, LLs and Ms. He was an writer with an incredible sense of style. He is hailed as one of the movement's great style masters. MAFIA crew members continued to uphold the legacy for many years after DON retired from painting subways.
