KET ONE INTERVIEW

©2001, 2003 @149st Do not republish without permission.

Where and what year did you start (on trains)?
I started painting trains in 1987 doing motions like all toys. I did my first piece on a train in 1987 by myself at Canal Street lay-up on the Js.

Did you have a particular inspiration or mentor(s)?
VEN and GHOST were the most inspiration and mentor types to me. They showed me spots and the ropes. They really taught me how to bomb and look at writing from an all around perspective.

What borough are you originally from?
I am originally from Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

What lines have you hit?
I believe I have hit almost all the lines in New York and many lines through out the world.

What crews have you written for?
I write for myself but rep for MTK (my crew), XTC (JA), AOK (REAS), RIS (GHOST), AMW (VEN), WKS (VEEFER), DTK (PORN-Los Angeles), WCA (RISK-Los Angeles), COD (WANE), FAL (FUZZ), RTW (MIN), BYI (CHINO), SV (CAVS), SC (POWER-Los Angeles), MCI (DUEL), TO (BRUZ)

Who was your most successful partner(s)?
VEN, GHOST, ZENO, SENTO, DUEL

Who were your rivals
who knows? A bunch of toys as far as I am concerned. Fuck them all.

Do you have any good raid stories?
Nah, they all sucked cause I had to run and lose my paint. Fu*k the cops. I donŐt even want to give them any props for putting together any good raids.

Writers of your generation faced obstacles unseen by prior generations. What motivated you to bomb despite these obstacles?
We didnŐt really have more obstacles. Its actually easier. Those out there that think its that much more different are punks and need to learn how to bomb. I was motivated by the need to bomb, my boys, and wanting to be a pain in the MTA's ass.

Any closing words?
Bomb harder!!!!!!!
