DES MPC Aliases: KASA, JADE 161 Started: 1984 Primary affiliations: KTC, MPC Local origin: Bronx, NY Main lines: 2s, 5s, 6s DES started his writing career in The Bronx in the mid 1980s. He wrote primarily on the exteriors of 2 and 5 lines of the IRT division. He diversified his painting style between standard straight letters such as blockbusters and more complicated wild styled letterforms. He wrote for a variety of crews including the Morris Park Crew (MPC), Kings, taking Control (TKC) Subway Vandals (SV) and others. Through out his career he teamed up with a variety of writers including CAVS, ELF, MANNY MPC and MKAY. By the late 1980s DES concluded his career on the subway. More on DES in the future.
